Diploma Dental Hygiene | GDC No. 6139Born and raised in Somerset, Amy is an accomplished Dental Hygienist who has been in dentistry for 30 years.
Her early dental nurse career began at a West Country practice where she gained qualifications in dental nursing, dental radiography and oral health education.
In 2000, after six years as a dental nurse, Amy went on to train as a Dental Hygienist at the University of Wales College of Medicine & Dentistry. Amy has worked in private practice ever since and gained a wealth of skills and experience.
As our longest serving hygienist, Amy’s day-to-day practice has a big emphasis on education, helping her patients understand the causes of periodontal diseases whilst explaining links to general health.
Amy is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She has great enthusiasm for the profession and enjoys learning about new developments in dentistry. In doing so she can deliver the best possible treatment outcomes and this has ensured her brilliant reputation for her patients
Amy lives locally and in her spare time she enjoys live music, watching theatre performances & exploring new adventures with her family.
